November 23, 2008San Cristobal volcano in Nicaragua has been erupting for two days, accompanied by earthquakes up to magnitude 4. The volcano is located 110 kilometers WSW of the capital, Managua. Five days ago there was a magnitude 5 earthquake 120 km SW of the volcano.
